Newborn Photography
Suitable for babies from 1 to 16 weeks old. This is the shoot you won't want to miss; capturing your Newborn's tiny features and perfect details as you embrace your new journey together into Parenthood is absolutely non-negotiable!

Every stage of babyhood is quick to pass, but none more so than that of the Newborn. We both know soaking in that sweet Newborn scent on your chest is fleeting; before you know it they are smiling and babbling away! A beautiful experience for both new and seasoned parents alike, there is nothing in the world as special as holding your curly Newborn in your arms. We will focus on capturing all that new sweet love using easy, natural prompts that come effortlessly.

Capturing your baby milestones at any time within their first year is an unmissable experience, but there is something super special about the 7/8 month-old milestone; just ask any Mumma and they will agree! The chubby leg rolls, adorable giggles & grabbing their teeny tootsies stage is the absolute cutest!

Allie was amazing and very accommodating from the start. Having not even thought about a newborn shoot until our little one had arrived and seeing how quickly she was changing/growing, we contacted Allie who managed to squeeze us in less than a week later. OPTIONAL EXTRAS
01. Rush Fee
Don’t want to wait the usual 4-6 weeks to have your final gallery? The excitement’s real and I get that if you want the photos back in time for a special occasion! Skip the queue and add the rush service to have your soft proof gallery within just 3 days after your session, and the final gallery within 1 week of choosing your final images. Please advise if you want to take this option at the time of booking so it can be added to your session fee.
02. In-Home Sessions
If you have decided I am the photographer for you but can't get to my studio, or you have booked a session but due to ill health are unable to travel to the studio for your session, I do offer an in-home service providing your home meets certain requirements. If you would like to find out more, please just let me know your location so I can provide you with a custom quote and more information.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
My purpose-built, natural light home studio is located in Hedge End, Southampton, UK.
At 3.5x4m in size, the studio is a lovely size for Newborn and Baby photography. It is a homely and cosy space without the pressure of a large commercial building, so you will quickly feel relaxed and comfortable; and so will your baby. It’s the perfect environment for capturing little memories! Also the studio being on my home turf means there is almost nothing I can’t pop inside and grab should the need arise (being as I have a toddler myself) which has been a handy bonus to date!
A million times YESS!!! LGBTQIA+, no matter how you identify and regardless of how you define your relationship, I’d love to be a tiny part of your Journey in Parenthood. Love is love and I’m 100% here for it.
Galleries usually contain a minimum of 50 photos. However please note the amount can vary due to many factors including the type of shoot, number of participants and how your baby and/or little ones settle on the day.
Following your shoot, you’ll receive a link via email to your soft-proof private online gallery (with watermarks). From this you choose which package you would like. Once final edits have been made, your chosen images will be delivered digitally available for high resolution download. You will also receive your gorgeous prints in the post shortly after.
It will take approx 4 weeks to receive your final photos following the shoot. I put a lot of love and care into perfecting each image, which is why it'll take me a little bit more time to deliver your final images. If you'd like your photos sooner, please ask me about the rush fee.
Of course, I'd love for you to print your favourite photos! You can easily order photos prints through your online gallery, or a supplier of your choosing once final images have been delivered.
Babies are very unpredictable and things come up! Illness and events outside of our control I completely understand. As long as certain conditions are met as outlined in my contract, I am happy to reschedule any baby shoot without charge once (excluding newborn sessions which I will re-schedule as many times as needed).
I accept Bank Transfer or Card payments via swipe. There are no additional transaction fee's for you to worry about either way! For purchases over £1k, payment plan options are available.
Not at all. You will be sent the price guide automatically after you send an inquiry using the contact form which explains the whole process in detail. Ahead of the shoot you only need to pay a deposit which acts as your session fee. Only after you have received your gallery will you then choose a package - options vary from 15 digital images to larger packages with products included - it really is your choice with zero pressure. There is no need to return to the studio for a 'viewing experience' of any awkward sales talk/pressure from me! I wish for you a relaxing and enjoyable experience without concern of being pressured into purchasing anything you are not comfortable with - I promise that is not my style. All my prices are clear and upfront in the Pricing Guide.
I will book you in for the week 7 days after your due date. Once your baby has arrived earth-side, we will confirm a date that works for you. I only accept 3 newborn session bookings a week to allow maximum flexibility for new parents, depending on when your baby arrives earthside.
Yes, from years of experience in the photography industry I have come to work with some of the best UK printing companies. I mainly use Loxley Colour, QTAlbums and Queensbury who all have a base here in the UK.
