As a natural style baby photographer in Hampshire, this session is ideal for those scrummy babies who can sit up unassisted, typically between 7-11 months old. It's the perfect stage when your baby is all about games of peek-a-boo, wowing us with their adorable baby gymnastics, and happily engaging in play and interaction before the inevitable need for a nap and mummy cuddles comes around.

Prompts not posing! During your session I will encourage your baby to play and relax naturally. However pretty quickly all those little nose kisses, embraces and smiles will come naturally, so don’t you worry, you'll quickly forget about any nerves you arrived with. With plenty of baby friendly toys and props available to keep your baby entertained whilst I capture all the details you won't ever want to forget!

Once your session is over post-production begins! I'll be pouring my heart and soul into your personalised Gallery by selecting the very best images from your baby photoshoot. Every picture is carefully scrutinized to ensure it is worthy of making the final cut before being hand edited in my signature style.
Your soft-proof gallery will be curated and sent to you in a link via email following your baby photography session for you to view and choose your final images.

My purpose-built, natural light home studio is located in Hedge End, Southampton, UK. For summer sunset shoots these are normally held at West Wittering beach in West Sussex (PO20 8AJ) or within the New Forest during August at sunset. However I do travel all over Hampshire, so please sign up to my mailing list if you would like to be notified of any outdoor shoots that might be close to you.
As a natural style baby photographer, this session is suitable for babies that are able to sit up unassisted, but not yet walking. This shoot is ideal for babies at the stage they love a game of peek-a-boo, will be wowing us with their natural baby gymnastics skills, grabbing their tootsies and rolling around, and generally be quite content to play and interact - around 7-10 months old. They are great sessions for capturing your baby's exquisite details; eyelashes, fingers, toes and chubby leg rolls that quickly disappear once they are on the move! It is also a gorgeous stage for capturing family pictures all together.

Galleries usually contain a minimum of 50 photos. However please note the amount can vary due to many factors including the type of shoot, number of participants and how your baby and/or little ones settle on the day.
Following your shoot, you’ll receive a link to your soft-proof online gallery. From this you will be able to easily choose your final images / package. Once final edits have been made, your images will be delivered digitally available for high resolution download. You will also receive your gorgeous prints in the post shortly after.
It will take 2 weeks to deliver your soft-proof gallery. Once you have chosen your package, your final gallery will be delivered 2-3 weeks after that. I put a lot of love and care into editing each image, which is why it'll take me a little bit more time to deliver your final images. If you'd like your photos sooner, please ask me about the rush fee.
Of course, I'd love for you to print your favourite photos! You can easily order photo prints through the store in your online gallery, or a supplier of your choosing once final images have been delivered.
Babies are very unpredictable and things come up! Illness and events outside of our control I completely understand. As long as certain conditions are met as outlined in my contract, I am happy to reschedule any baby shoot without charge.
Of course, I want to ensure you know what you need to bring and what to expect, so your session runs as smooth and stress-free as possible. I will provide you with helpful guides and be on hand to answer any questions you might have in the lead-up to your baby photoshoot session. Please never hesitate to reach out!
Absolutely! Although the majority of my clients prefer to come to my home studio for many reasons (see the blog if you are undecided which type of shoot to choose from!) however, if you have decided I am the photographer for you but can't get to my studio, or you have booked a session but due to ill health are unable to travel to the studio for your session, I do offer an in-home service providing your home meets certain requirements. If you would like this option, please just let me know your location so I can provide you with a custom quote and more information.
My Baby photography studio is based in Southampton, Hampshire, so I often welcome family's from around Portsmouth, Winchester, New Forest, Bournemouth and surrounding areas. The house is a few minutes drive off the M27. The studio is located in my home garden. It is a detached house with a private drive-way for you to park straight up on. Once you arrive I will walk you around the side of the house which leads directly to the garden. There are no stairs, although please be aware there is one step up to enter the studio. This means mothers recovering post-birth (whether c-section or natural) can usually access the studio nice and easily.
